I got a ticket for a no right turn on red in Los Angeles. Can I still go to court to reduce the amount owed? It is now at collections.. This has happened to me once before with a no registration and insurance fine that was late. But I was able to go to court to reduce the fine. But I don t know if this is the same with a traffic moving violation. Please Help!!!

How long does convictons of speeding stay on your record?
The conviction date is: 6/10/2004 with three points.

Also I have a "Disobeyed traffic Device" convicted on 5/27/2005 with two points. That is it. My driving record is clean after that, no acidents, no DWI, etc.

What states give you your license back when you have traffc tickets in another states. And are all states recognising traffic tickets as a reason to give you your license. Or do you have to go back to the state where the tickets took place and pay. Thanks I am just askint because my mom needs to get her license

My friend is scared to go to the dmv to get license renewed because she thinks she has a bench warrant out for a misdeamnor, non-traffic related violation/warrant. I think DMV only has traffic-related incidents on their computer such as a license suspension, dui, unpaid tickets, etc…

Does the dmv (Missouri just in case) run checks other than traffic related warrants?

So, I’m driving home from work in a tiny town with a stop sign at every block and not enough traffic to justify them all. I turn right at a "T" where there is a stop sign…yes, I stopped… and some cop training a baby-faced cadet is sitting down the street like a parked car. Junior needs some practice filling out paper work and whatnot, so they pull me over and claim I didn’t stop at that corner. Is this not bullcrap? I know the kid needs practice and there isn’t enough crime here to give him some, but charging me an unjust fine so the rug rat can fill out a citation is unethical. The thing is, I’m railroaded; there’s not a thing I can do, is there?

I received two non-moving written warnings, a non-moving violation, and a moving violation (0-9 mph over limit) during a traffic stop initiated by an officer who "paced" me. Whether through plea or hearing, I hope to have the moving violation rescinded, but I would like to know if the prosecuting attorney, the officer, or the court can change the written warnings to violations and/or increase the "level" or "mph" of the speeding violation in response to me "fighting" the citation.

I am 21 years old, and intend on enlisting in the Air Force this year. If I score well on the ASVAB and pass the physical fitness test, can I join the air force with traffic tickets? I have three, but they are all paid. Will this hurt my chances? If so, how much? Thank you.

In New Orleans police stop and arrest people who they dont like and charge them for being drunk in public,or obstructing the sidewalk when in fact they are not breaking any law at all .its been going on here for a while .in the french quarter they can arrest hundreds of tourist every day for stopping and looking into the antique shops windows but they dont .when arrested for being drunk in public they dont allow you to have a breath test if requested to prove your Innocent,but for traffic dwi they administer them to get a conviction.hows this for justice and to protect and serve

I am going to my second court date for traffic tickets and at my first court date I asked for it to be continued so I could get a lawyer…..well I haven’t had enough money to hire a lawyer yet so can I ask for another continuance?????
