The violator is an illegal immigrant so although he will have to appear in court, he doesn’t exist. He didn’t have a Driver Lis. and provided false insurance information to the police officer that took the report. Can I claim compensation for damages from the state? Claim it as a loss on my tax returns? My insurance already said that I will receive nothing from them considering that my car was too old to have collision insurance on it.

I have always wanted to become a police officer. I was given a careless driving ticket. Does this ticket come off my record when I am 18 becuase it happend when I was 17. Thanks

I got a ticket,and the police officer wrote down the wrong DL number. I have not paid it for 2 years now and a bench warrant was issued a while back. I got my drivers abstracts and it does not show the ticket or show any suspensions even though according to the court, my license has been suspended. They did not have the right license number, the officer missed two numbers (since this was an out of state license, he probably did not know to include those numbers). Anyway, my question is, will the bench warrant still show up on my criminal record since they have my name correctly, but the wrong license number?

I was pulled down by a Police officer and he said I was speeding. (49 in 40zone)
He gave me a ticket and the ticket says the fine is 5.

The officer said that I wrote 105 for you to save you money.

What is the regular fine for speeding in SLC?
this is my #1 time to get a ticket

How can an officer tell which car the signal is bouncing off of?

I understand with laser radar there is a laser dot the can be aimed at any car which will instantly give you their speed. but laser radar can only be used while stationary NOT in a a moving police cruiser.

But I’m talking about Ka band radar how can police officer make a judgment that what the Ka radar is telling them is correct?

I am 16 and was caught with possession of marijuana and i had my license for 2 weeks, and the police officer did not specifically tell me my license was suspended. My court date is in 2 months so i was wondering if i can drive before my court date decides my license is suspended.

Also in the future during the court date, is it possible to not have my license suspended?

I want to be a police officer but am about to be charged with a DUI. It’s been a dream of mine for a long time and I’ve been putting off school for this for 2 years because I’ve been fighting it, but I lost. ( I was not the driver but was in the car while it was running ) anyways, should I give up? Or is it possible for me to still be a cop?

If you have had both tests done by a police officer, please tell me what the results were and how far apart the tests were taken. I’m wondering about the accuracy of the breathalyzer test. My bf was drinking the other night. This one girl really needed a ride home and he was the only one who could give her one. He waited about an hour and tried sobering up and drinking a lot of water. He didn’t want to drive so soon but he felt bad for her. Now please don’t start going off on how dumb he is for drinking and driving because I know someone will but its pointless now… he rarely drinked to begin with and hes done drinking now. On the way there, my bf was pulled over because he needed some car repairs. He tested a 0.08 on the breathalyzer the first time. He passed a field sobriety test without any trouble. They cops had him sit around for like 15 minutes and had him take it again. The breathalyzer gave a reading of 0.09 the second time. They drew blood shortly after. I’ve been reading online about a margin of error with these breathalyzers. I wonder if the blood test could give different results. Also, my bf is a pretty big guy.. 6’3 260 pounds, so I’m wondering if a large body size could give a false positive on the breathalyzer test. If his blood test gives results under 0.08, hes off the hook without a DUI because the cops didn’t report anything wrong with his driving and because he passed the field sobriety test. What are your experiences if you’ve had those tests done? Were the results different from each other?

my boyfriend was stopped at the reading dui center and he was searched and the police officer found about an 1/8 on him. they said they would get something in the mail. will it be a court date or more likely a fine?

I had a car accident 8 months before. However, when i request my driving history from DMV, it doesn’t show up anything about that. At the time of the accident, i didn’t get a ticket. The police officer only gave me a case number if in-case need to receive the accident report. The accident was not that bad. However, my insurance had to pay some expenses for cover. I has been out of insurance for about 6 months from now and i was not driving either in those time. Now, my question is: do i need to mention about this accident to the insurance company that i want to by now? ( of course a different one from the one i used to have) I am thinking not to say a word about it as my DMV record doesn’t show anything. Any idea ? do u think these insurance companies exchange information on another ?
