I want to join a devision of the armed forces but have a terrible driving record. When I was young 16-19 I obtained about 6 tickets. I threw money at the fines everytime so they all went to my record. 2 are going to fall off this year (2011) and more next year according the 3 year fall off rule that the DMV informed me of. Any information on this would be great.

I was pulled down by a Police officer and he said I was speeding. (49 in 40zone)
He gave me a ticket and the ticket says the fine is 5.
The officer said that I wrote 105 for you to save you money.
What is the regular fine for speeding in SLC?
this is my #1 time to get a ticket

I just bought a truck and I am looking to cancel the insurance and registration on the motorcycle to save some money until it is sold (a month or so). I still make payments on the motorcycle so I don’t know if this is possible….

I collected money from my insurance (property damage & P.I.). The party who caused the accident had no insurance. If I collect money from the uninsured party, do I have to pay my insurance company back. How can I legally avoid this?

I was struck on my motorcycle by an unisured motorist that ran a stop sign, breaking a total of 9 bones, I’ve had 4 operations and I still have 1 more to go. My bills have hit over $ 300,000 the woman that hit me got less than a 00 in fines and is already driving again. I think it should be a $ 2000 dollar fine and they lose their auto to be sold at auction and drivers license for a year. The fine and money gained from the sale of their car should go into a fund to pay the victim’s. Once they are hit with a fine and loss of their car and license maybe they will think twice about getting behind the wheel and not having insurance. Because let’s face it, if you can’t afford insurance you cant afford to drive.

I have a job interview tomorrow. I know they will ask for a background check. Problem is, I had a speeding ticket a couple months ago, and I still have not paid it as I have not had the money. Since this is now late, will it show up on my background check? Thanks.

My friend received a 5 speeding ticket and does not have the money to pay it. He is on SSI. Would a CA judge be willing to give him community service in place of the fine?

More specifically – tickets written for expired inspection and emissions stickers. I’m wondering if the money someone pays for an expired emissions ticket actually goes toward improving the environment, or if law enforcement doesn’t really care about the car’s amount of pollution and are only making profit for themselves.
