can i leave the country with a DWI misdemeanor?
I have a misdemeanor DUI conviction from age 19. I am now 24. I want to volunteer at a children’s hospital but the app says they reserve the right to deny people based on their criminal record. Furthermore, could I ever get a job working at a hospital? I hope to go to grad school to be a P.T. I’m depressed about this because I feel like this conviction is the one thing holding me back. I have excellent grades, references, etc.
So one mistake at 19 and I can never get a good job?
I have something on my driving record that happened 4 years ago and i want to know if it will come up. It was misdemeanor
got one in 2010. Will Air National Guard accept me after probation is over? It’s only a Misdemeanor
If this was for a misdemeanor DUI, with a car accident? Can you pay it off in increments? What if you are out of work?
My landlord did a background check on me last year, and nothing showed up. However, I was convicted for a misdemeanor marijuana paraphernalia charge 5yrs ago that was processed through the municipal court. Now I am applying schools which will conduct a background check, I am unsure whether I should disclose my past and whether it will show up or not. I’m a resident of missouri, if that makes any difference.
I have a misdemeanor DUI drugs and was wondering if anybody else has had experience with this. I live in Flagstaff, AZ, but got caught in Campe Verde. THis is all new to me, I am getting an attorney, but I was just asking to see if there is luck out there. This DUI is threatening to disrupt my whole life. Has anybody had luck getting it reduced to reckless driving, or a plain dui?
Do you think the judge will have pity on me since, a dui drug will remove my Financial aid, thus pretty much ending my college career?
What are the consequences of being in possession of a fake ID in washington?
Possessing one, not being caught using one?
I don’t know if there’s a difference
and what type of charge do you get for DUI on a bicycle, is it like a misdemeanor?
Additional Details
I’ve had this ID for a looong time
and yeah, I got a DUI riding a bicycle on a road set at 35mph yesterday at like 6 in the morning
I’d drunken that night so I refused the breathalyzer thinking I wouldn’t be required to take it, because I wasn’t driving. And I didn’t want any alcohol to show up because I didn’t want like minor in consumption or possession charges..
the state trooper told me he was taking me to county jail, emptied my pockets and found a fake in my wallet, he said nothing about it though.. but I’m afraid it’s gonna come up in court
I don’t want to get charged a lot because I’m supposed to go to marine boot camp in seven weeks, I don’t think that’s happening anymore… but I still want to be able to join the military after all this stupid bicycle **** is done… which is why I’m curious how serious the charges were…
I found this information:
"To make or have a fake ID would be forgery, a class C felony," Grannis said, citing RCW 9A.60.020. "Penalties would vary based on offender’s history, judicial discretion, and other factors. The operational word being felony."
Using it to get into a bar or purchase alcohol is a misdemeanor, as is providing or acquiring fake ID for a minor, Grannis said.
RCW 66.44.310 states it’s a misdemeanor for "any person under the age of twenty-one years to represent his or her age as being twenty-one or more years for the purpose of purchasing liquor or securing admission to, or remaining in any area classified by the board as off-limits to such a person."
"Any person who transfers in any manner an identification of age to a minor for the purpose of permitting such minor to obtain alcoholic beverages shall be guilty of a misdemeanor," according to the terms in RCW 66.44.325.
RCW section 66.44.328 states no person may forge, alter, counterfeit, otherwise prepare or acquire and supply to a person under age 21 years a facsimile of any of the officially issued cards of identification that are required to be shown to buy liquor. The penalty is a gross misdemeanor.

but I wasn’t caught using the id… just being in possession of it, so??
My little sister just got her first DUI over the weekend in Phoenix Arizona. She doesn’t know her BAC yet, since they didn’t give her immediate results of the blood test, but she was assigned an Aggravated DUI since her license was suspended.
Her license was suspended because she had unpaid tickets and failed to show proof of insurance. I went with her to the courthouse today to pay the ticket and prove that she had insurance, so we got her license reinstated. My question is if they will drop the DUI down to one of the misdemeanor charges (regular, extreme, super extreme). She has no prior problems besides the suspension, and she had thought it was paid off (she gave the fine money to roommate — already know how stupid that was).
We plan to get an attorney once she has her status hearing, but I wanted to know if there was anyone with experience out there who could say whether or not it’s likely it’ll be dropped to the lesser court, or if the felony conviction will stick.
My roommate is sitting in jail, and the police were trying to charge him with 2 felonious abductions, and 1 misdemeanor domestic violence. He’s been sitting for 12 days now. We all expected (including his lawyer) for the prosecutor to present the case to the grand jury yesterday, but they haven’t done it yet. How much longer can they legally put it off?
