13 months ago, I received a speeding ticket. It was a supervision ticket (6 mo) and I went to traffic school/paid for the ticket. My current Driving Abstract from the DMV lists that I have nothing on my record. I just got Steer Clear Good Driver discount forms in the mail. Am I still eligible? Would an insurance company know about my ticket?

If you have a drivers license but it’s not the hard card license, like a paper saying that you do have it like right when you pass your drivers test. And before you actually get your hard card license in the mail you move to Texas. Do you have to start all over again starting with the written test or could you just transfer your California’s drivers license to Texas with that paper?

I received a picture radar ticket in the mail from a vacation trip to Washington D C. Do I need to pay it, they won’t extradite from Arkansas will they? I’ve looked on internet and looks like due to not signing anything they have to serve me papers within 120 days. I wouldn’t think they would pay someone to serve me in Arkansas.

I was told to go to court and ask for an abstract? Does anyone know what this is? I am trying to get this done before 6/24/08, the court date for the ticket described below. The information leading to the suspension is also below. 4/24/2008 I was ticketed for speeding 25mph above limit on I-5, with a suspended license…yes stupid. License was suspended due to failure to appear and/or pay for two speeding tickets received in early 2007. I was very sick for most of 2007, didn’t even open most of my mail.
One ticket is in collections, pay 0 and they will lift the hold. Another ticket is 8.00, again pay and they will release the hold. These amounts are due to late fees. I have a court date for 6/24 for the current ticket, but I was told I should get the suspension lifted before my court date. I am a single mom on disability so I am trying to do this in the least expensive manner. I can’t afford to just pay the tickets or hire an attorney. No legal priors. Any advice appreciated.

Simply, does receiving a speeding ticket from a photo radar in your mail for going 15-17 mph above the speed limit add points to your license?

I got a traffic ticket in california and i want to know if you need the paper you got in the mail to go resolve it. I lost it and can seem to find it and my case is tomorrow in the morning. Its the paper that has the fine and the court case number etc. Will I be able to resolve my case without it. And I cant seem to get it online.

Well, here’s the situation. Someone from NY attempted to send me pot through the mail, apparently, and I had no idea. (I used to smoke a back in the day. My birthday had just passed and I hadn’t seen my friends in over a year. I guess one of them was trying to do me a favor) Whoever they were used my best friends addsress who doesn’t even smoke pot, (assholes) and as a result, he’s been charged with possesion (a 125$ fine in NY. no biggie). Well, my question is whether or not I have to pay a fine to. And if so, by Michigan guidelines (possible jail time) or NY terms. I also got a DUI in Iowa a while back and am on prohibation, so I’m litterally freaking out. Something I didn’t even ask for could possibly put me in jail for 1yr. Please let me know, so at least I know. The sooner the better. Thank you.

I came from Illinois where I had an M on my lisense…When I switched it over the DMV asked me If I wanted to transfer over my Motorcycle license…I said yes, but I just got the license in the mail and the Endorsements say C&Y…Does anybody know what my Drivers License should say to allow my Two Wheels to hit the Road???
