I had a DUI 3 years ago and the National Guard gave me a waiver and I enlisted. Two days ago, after my going away party, I got arrested for a DUI. They are charging me with D Felony. I am supposed to ship out for Basic training in 2 days. I assume I won’t be going until I get through all the legal proceedings, etc. But what I want to find out is whether they will let me continue or if they will discharge me because of what happened.

It got sent up to county court to go before the grand jury will it get drop down to police court or stay as a felony can I get jail time?

I have a felony deferred adjudication back in 2009 for credit card abuse and want to go to truck driving school but cant find one that will let me go because of background check even though I wasnt convicted,just charged.
I have been off probation since feb. 2009
I will have it sealed in 2014.

what will happen in my new state? If i lay low..If I get pulled over will i be extraidited> What about background checks>will it show? Also, will the warrant go away after some years?
Please note, I want to face the charge but i have no home in the arresting state and not much money right now. ANd also, this felony dui can be reduced, no accident, just i racked up a few, and by the way, i was out of my car, which i think is bs!

@ perril apple…I was not drunk. I was out of my car for 20 min. No driving, I was waiting for a friend to pick me up while waiting in the parking lot and had a beer. sigh, I don’t need a judgmental remark, but this is yahoo after all. yahoos.lol! dui laws are for the most a money pit..But i want it taken care of that is why i asked on here! thx so far for good anws all n all.

Maybe I might be wrong but I think a DWI is a misdemeanor, if it is how come its not a felony when there are serious consequences when you drink and drive

My friend got three years for DWI Felony Repetition in the state of Texas. If he has good behavior, how much time should he spend in prison? What kind of good time credit does TDCJ give? Thanks

The BAC of 1st offense .22, BAC of 2nd offense .25.
Second offense was driving with a child under 14.

What construes a felony DUI?
What ramifications would there be with child protective services? (Her ex-husband just got out of a rehab facility for addiction to prescription meds)
Would there be required jail time?
Might she be charged with a separate case of child endangerment? Felony?

I’ve been falsley accused of abuse and and the accuser had accused another person of the same thing, that person is going to be a witness for my defense. Since the prosecutor has absolutely nothing else to go on but the accusers testimony (which is an accusation of something that supposedly happened 8 yrs ago) are they likely to drop charges after interviwing my witness before trial??
