My husband is an e4 and recently got a DUI off post. He was just promoted to Corporal and has a great track record in the two years he has served. He got stopped at a breath test and blew a .9. His punishment is being decided by the SKO.

A friend of mine was fired for violating company policy-being under the influence of alcohol above 0.02level. He was asked to take the breath test and it came out as 0.04 and the state (Ohio) BAC level is 0.08. Is breath test as conclusive as Blood test to really determine the Blood Alcohol Concentration level? And,for being fired for the reason stated above, is he eligible for unemployment pay? I don’t know if it is different here in Australia but do you go to jail if u get pulled over driving without a licence just randomly say for a breath test but u are not drinking, speeding etc? What about getting pulled over a second time? Thanks!!
In New Orleans police stop and arrest people who they dont like and charge them for being drunk in public,or obstructing the sidewalk when in fact they are not breaking any law at all .its been going on here for a while .in the french quarter they can arrest hundreds of tourist every day for stopping and looking into the antique shops windows but they dont .when arrested for being drunk in public they dont allow you to have a breath test if requested to prove your Innocent,but for traffic dwi they administer them to get a conviction.hows this for justice and to protect and serve
My husband was asked by the gastro specialist to do a breath test for h pylori bacteria, a little more than a month ago. I called his doctors office and his medical network and for almost a month they kept telling me that they had not recieved the request from the doctors office. After blaming each other the test was finally approved but was approved for the wrong hospital as that hospital does not conduct that test. The person handling the case at the doctors office is really mean and just is not cooperating. She even went to the extent of saying its just a breath test and it is not very serious. Do you think I should send a written complaint to the doctor abt his staff’s handling of the problem. Now They say that they have re-submmitted the papers to the insurance network. Meanwhile my husband is suffering from the stomach pain. I really dont know what to do, bcoz the whole process has started again. Does anyone have any info on pre certification. Sorry abt this long question.
