What is the official difference between a DUI and a DWI?
I used to think a DWI was Alcohol and DUI was all the other drugs. But someone informed me that that wasn’t true. So, what is it? The amount? The day of the week?

how much alcohol would it take to register a breath test of .25
not producing or uptaking one chemical or another without blood test or something?
I mean it takes several weeks to get any benefit from the medications and if your brain needs dopamine not sarrotonin is it just trial and error [syptoms] for a year or so until the doctors has written every new or old meds that the Big Drug Companys push or should I say "wants the Dr.to try pushing them on patients" without Any Real Test or Something to figure out WHAT the brain is low on in the first place….This sure seems more logical to me and less debilitating for the patient Who needs help Now not later ..By the time one who may have been told they need meds to overcome the health problem they May have,It,s pretty likely they will just give up on the professional and resort to drugs/no help at all which can be worse than Drugs & alcohol together &driving off a cliff..Big Buisness sucks! why do Doctors follow along like blind monkeys with their hand in the scamBag too?
maybe my heart is 2 big-$
at a light intersection in Texas. He was driving the car and his friend was in the passenger seat wearing no seat belt. My son was driving while intoxicated wearing his seat belt. His friend was also intoxicated of alcohol plus drugs. His friend was a force of distraction while my son was driving. His friend was also not wearing his seat belt. The state of Texas is now trying to put this charge called Assault of Intoxication/ Severe Bodily Injury. I assume its because of the passenger his friend, medical condition.
I know I need to hire a lawyer.
Anyone please give me advice on what else to do and what can help my son!
I was outside at a party, no drink in my hand, and cops raided the party. I refused a breathalyzer test and was arrested. I was let out of jail without any bail. I am 18 and live in Illinois. Can I plead not guilty since I didn’t take the breathalyzer and I didn’t have any alcohol near me? I am afraid I will lose my drivers license because of the harsh driving laws in Illinois for drivers under the age of 21. Any help would be appreciated.
I am a 26 year old male in NC, and I’m pretty sure I will qualify because I had a valid ID at the time of my DWI last friday, and I had a clean record before that with no traffic violations or no other convictions. My court date is September 12th and the lawyer I’m going to meet said I might be able to qualify for one before my court date. I read on a website also that I meet the requirements. I know I have to wait for a week or two and than go through the DMV to get that, but what exactly are the rules? I know it’s to and from work between certain hours and you can go to school with it, but let’s say you want to drive to a friend’s house or run out to get something to eat and get a small traffic violation or a warning. Like speeding a little bit, will you get the privilege taken away if you can’t prove you were going to work or school? Just wondering. Also, I’m going to enroll in alcohol school before my court date, and my lawyer’s office offers counseling programs that you can sign up for, or know of certain ones. So I should be able to qualify for a limited driving privilege. I’m 26 and I know I messed up, and the police man recorded a 0.13 on the breathalizer, and I have learned my lesson. I wasn’t locked up in a cell that night and my dad signed papers to let me leave, and I was very polite and cooperative with police officers. I did not get pulled and this was at a license check 5 minutes away from my house when I was almost home. Here is that website with qualifying for limited driving privileges. I was cited for G.S. 20-138.1, that is what was marked on my papers.

I just got my permit, and there is two pictures on it. A big one, and a slightly faded smaller one. One of my friends told me that the little one is a breathalyser [the picture will fade if there is alcohol on your breath when you breathe onto the picture ...wtf?]
I dunno, I can’t find anything about it online, so if you knew that’d be greeeaat.
I drank last night and I have to take a urine test today . If I quit drinking at 9pm and take the urine test at 7pm today and I drank a pint of alcohol, will I pass at 7pm?
Alright so I arrive at a club at 12:30 and have one long island ice tea because at the door they mess up and give me a 21 band. It’s 3:00 and closing time and I leave..me being stupid…I speed through a yellow light and theres a cop right there and he pulls me over. He then says that he can smell alcohol on me and I insist that it’s on my shirt and that I haven’t had any. He gets me out and makes me do the sobriety test and I pass all of them…he says that I failed and makes me do a breathalyser where I blow a 0.05 BAC. This is my first offense and the first time I have ever been pulled over. Do you think that I could get it dropped to reckless or even dropped?
This person’s probation rule consists of absolute sobriety and no possession or consumption of alcohol. Can one go the bars on these rules if they are not drinking in the bar?
