I got a DUI back in march 2nd of this year (2009). My lawyer tried to fight it, but it didn’t help, so my license is currently suspended. In order to get a restricted license, i need to show proof of innsurance. Knowing that i have a dui on my record, what’s the best option i have ?
I was convicted of a DUI in march 2011 and my green card expires in august 2011. I am on probation for 3 years. Can I renew my green card now or do I have to wait until my probation is over? Thx.
A friend claims to have gone to jail because of a forgotten bottle of vodka left by her daughter. Her bail is over 1,000 dollars. It doesn’t make sense. My sister-in-law was recently sentenced to 12 months probation in Georgia for a DUI guilty plea.She is concerned as to what type of probation to expect.Supervised or unsupervised.Also she had smoked marijuana but stopped about two months ago.Will she be drug tested when she reports to her probation officer next week.Thanks in advance for any advice.
