I had a date last night with this really cute redhead. For the date, we rented a bunch of movies and I cooked her dinner. Anyways, things were going absolutely great; She suggested we have a few drinks to help loosen up a bit and knock off the nervous edge which I made us a few Jack and Cokes. After relaxing a bit, we spent the whole time talking instead of watching the movies. We’ll here is the problem; I have an ignition interlock device (long story) and I made sure I had a few hours for the drinks to wear off and made sure I ate dinner after we drank so that way I can take her home. Well I tried to start the truck but the interlock said I failed, and this went on on night long! I stayed up until 2:30 to try to start the damn truck but it still said I had alcohol on my breath! Needless to say things seem to go down hill on the date real quick; the later the night went on the coversation stopped and she hardly said a word even though I was trying to be nice and continue talking (I think we were all just getting sleepy). She wanted to go home because she had to take her kids to school this morning, and I needed to go to bed for work this morning but neither of us got what we wanted. I ended up letting her go to sleep in my bed while I slept on the couch since apparently I couldn’t take her home. She said she understood and it wasn’t that big of a deal, but I know otherwise. I would have called her a cab, but I live in a small town without a taxi service.

So how bad did I blow it? Should I expect to not hear from her again? As I said, things were going terrific before that crap happened, she even said she had fun when I dropped her off this morning but there is no telling if she was just being nice. Did I royally f*ck up?

One of the reasons I like this gal so much is because of her kids since Im a single Dad. Plus we had WAY too much in common, hell we both play the drums too!

But the Police Department apparently never sent over my file, and I was told that they had no information on me whatsoever. Apparently they never pressed the charges? Has this happened to anyone? The clerks office told me to call the DAs office and ask, but I basically see that as ASKING them to press charges against me, and my attorney told me to just make sure I call the clerks office weekly/monthly to see if a court date is ever set. And I guess the 2 cops were BOTH rookies, so maybe they screwed something up? Bottomline, do you think im getting away with this or what? Cause ive never been in trouble or gone to court or anything, so I dont know how all this works!

put me in cuffs and took me to a holding cell and then before a judge for a hearing date, shouldnt the police have read me my rights after discovering the warrent and cuffing me? they didn’t.

From what I understand, civil tickets are able to be included in a bankruptcy. If so it would make greatly lower the amount I need to pay in order to get my license back. Also I have heard private students loans may be included. Does anyone know if any of that is true?
No, but it will cut 4,000 off what i owe making it cheaper. Ass

I was hit by a uninsured motorist plus he was drunk (.298) and he also ran from the police witch they got him 1 mile away. I was rear end by him at the speed around 55 plus mph. I was stopped for a train.I had whiplash, allot of bruises, cuts ,and totalled my car. I have uninsured motorist but my lawyer wants to go after my insurance company ! I have 100,000 on uninsured motorist and im sure he wants the hole thing . But im affraid i will get dropped. But the thing that gets me mad is that this guy almost killed me and i have 2 kids that are under 3 . And my wife would have to sell the house if i was to die. So due i let my lawyer go after my insurance company ? I lost about 4 weeks of work , 8k in hospital bills and no car.

When is a simple battery misdemeanor expunged in California? Is it by default, or is there a criteria for expunging. Should a expunge request be placed? What is the advantage of expunging, given that you still have a record.

My husband and I currently own a truck and have an exisiting comprehensive auto insurance policy in Texas. If we buy a new car (thereby removing the truck and adding the new car to our policy but not changing anything else) will the insurance company run his driving record again?
